These two Sandhill Cranes decided to stop off for a visit behind my apartment.
Today, I visited the Audobon Center for Birds of Prey in Maitland, Florida. The center focuses on rehabilitation, rescue, treatment, and the release of the raptors.
It was a great learning experience. I highly recommend it if you are in the Orlando area. 🙂

Below are some of the photos that I took. Some of the photos were taken through a window, so they may not be completely sharp.
This Great Egret was patiently waiting to find a fish to snack on.
It was quite a sight to see this Great Blue Heron trying to eat this little Florida Softshell Turtle.
This adorable Palm Warbler was looking for something to eat for lunch. He managed to find a couple of little bugs to eat before he flew off.
I have to say that these little guys are so entertaining to watch.
